Required products :

  • 1 medium zucchini
  • 1 medium eggplant
  • 2 peppers
  • 3-5 tomatoes
  • 200-250 grams of yellow cheese
  • salt, spices (turmeric, curry, ground black pepper, etc.)
  • oil

For the dough:

  • 150 milliliters of yogurt or kefir
  • 150 milliliters of water
  • 1 teaspoon (without tip) coarse salt
  • spices: 1/2 teaspoon (or to taste) curry, black pepper, turmeric
  • 200 grams of wheat flour

Method of preparation :

Cut the vegetables (except tomatoes) into cubes with a side length of 2-2.5 centimeters (it is good to peel the aubergines beforehand).

Mix them in a bowl, sprinkle with spices and stir. Leave for at least 30 minutes.

Make dough from yogurt, water, flour and season. it must be thick so that it does not spill into the pan during frying.

Cut the tomatoes and yellow cheese into cubes of the same size as the other products.

String everything cooked on skewers in any order.

Then dip each in the thick dough, which is evenly distributed on the bites, using a spoon.

Fry on both sides (6-8 minutes each) in hot oil, occupying about 2-3 centimeters from the height of the dish. Place the skewers at a distance from each other so that they do not stick together. Close the pan with a lid.

Remove the prepared ones on paper so that it absorbs the excess fat.
