How To Cook Vegetable Tart With Cauliflower - Recipe

Required products :

1 head of cauliflower

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup fresh milk
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, shredded (or cow's cheese)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 peeled asparagus, sliced
  • 4 tea cups baby spinach
  • 4 green onion stalks, chopped

Method of preparation :

Grind the cauliflower in a food processor, then put it in a bowl and heat it for 5 minutes in the microwave. Allow to cool completely and strain it through a towel.

Add 1 egg, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic and a quarter teaspoon of salt. Stir and transfer the mixture to a tart pan. Press the filling on the bottom and walls.

Bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until golden.

Reduce the oven temperature to 190 degrees.

In a bowl, mix 5 eggs, milk, feta cheese, half a teaspoon of salt and pepper. In a pan, fry the asparagus in a little olive oil until soft.

Add the spinach and wait for it to melt and transfer to the cooked cauliflower batter. Pour the egg mixture on top and sprinkle with green onions.

Bake for another 45 minutes until ready.

Allow the tart to cool for 15 minutes, then serve.
