Required products :

  • 3-4 tablespoons of sunflower oil
  • 1 onion, chopped in bulk
  • 2 cloves garlic, cut into thin slices
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 400 grams of soaked and squeezed chickpeas
  • 100 grams of hummus
  • 50 grams of flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • black pepper to taste
  • 50 grams of pine nuts or cashews

for serving:

  • 8 flat loaves
  • lettuce
  • 8 tablespoons yogurt
  • 8 teaspoons chili sauce

Method of preparation :

In 1 tablespoon of fat fry briefly onions and garlic - about 4-5 minutes until soft. Season with cumin and coriander and after a minute remove from the heat. Wait 5 minutes to cool.

Transfer them to a food processor with an S-shaped knife. Add half the chickpeas, flour and hummus. Season with salt and pepper and grind to a coarse paste.

Add the remaining chickpeas and pine nuts. Make a few pulsations until the chickpeas and nuts are crushed in bulk. Season to taste.

The mixture is divided into 8 portions and each is formed into meatballs with a thickness of about 1.5 centimeters.

Heat more fat in a pan and fry the burgers for 3-4 minutes on each side.

Serve them in bread rolls, along with salad and sauce and milk.
