The bright aroma comes from the chili and garlic sauce. Multicolored peppers make this recipe festive, and the use of eggs makes it a satisfying vegetarian dish.

Required products :

  • 220 grams of wholemeal spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup dry sherry wine
  • 1 teaspoon lime peel
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce with smoked paprika and garlic
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil + 1 tbsp
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 teaspoons shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 red, orange and / or yellow peppers, cut into strips
  • 6 teaspoons cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped + more for garnish

Method of preparation :

Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the package.

Mix in a small bowl the lime juice and zest, dry wine, soy sauce, chili sauce with smoked paprika and garlic and brown sugar.

Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a wok over high heat. Beat the eggs in a bowl and beat lightly with a fork. Pour into the wok and fry like an omelet, then pour over a board and cut into strips.

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in the same wok and fry the peppers and mushrooms, stirring for about 2 minutes, then pour the cabbage and green onions and fry until the vegetables are soft, stirring often. Pour chili and lime sauce into the wok, add the spaghetti and egg strips and stir for 1-2 minutes. Serve sprinkled with green onions.
