Required products :

250 grams of flour
175 milliliters of milk
1 egg
30 grams of butter
1 teaspoon of sugar
6 grams of dry yeast
4 grams of salt

 

Method of preparation :

Add salt and sugar to the milk and heat it on the stove.

Melt the butter, sift the flour with the yeast.

Pour the flour, forming a pile, into a suitable container or on the kitchen counter. Make a hollow in the middle and gradually pour in the melted butter and milk, kneading the dough.

Leave it to rise in a warm place for an hour, then knead and let stand for another 30 minutes.

Divide the finished dough into 4 equal parts, which you roll out like loaves on a floured surface.

Roll each sheet into a roll, fold the ends into the rolls themselves.

Arrange in a tray and cover with a towel. It should rise again in a warm place (at least half an hour).

Then make small incisions on the surface, spread with beaten egg yolk and place in a preheated oven to 180 degrees.

Bake the bagels for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
