Necessary products:

  • 6 tsp flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1.5 tsp fresh milk
  • 150 g butter
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 pack. dry yeast
  • 1 tsp vanillin
  • 150 g poppy
  • left

Method of preparation:

Heat the milk, add 1 tablespoon of sugar, add the yeast and leave to rise. Take a large bowl and mix the eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla and milk with the yeast. Then start gradually adding the sifted flour and stir using a wire whisk. Add the melted and cooled butter and knead the dough. Leave it for 2 hours to rise.

When the dough rises, roll it into a rectangular shape. Coat the surface with butter, sprinkle with sugar and poppy seeds (maybe walnuts, raisins or jam) and roll. Cut into pieces and arrange them in a tray at a distance of 3-4 cm from each other. Brush with egg and bake in oven at 185 degrees.
