Learn how to cook "Vita puff pastry with mashed potatoes, cheese and topping". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

500 grams of puff pastry
500 grams of mashed potatoes
300 grams of
dill cheese to taste
ground black pepper to taste
150 milliliters of milk or liquid cream
1 egg
spices and herbs to taste

Method of preparation :

Thaw the puff pastry, during which time make the filling.

Boil potatoes, peel and mash with a little butter, if desired. Season to taste.

Grate the cheese or just crush it with your hands, then mix with the potatoes.

Finely chop the dill, add to the filling and stir.

Divide the dough into two equal parts. Roll one thinly and spread half of the filling evenly over the surface.

Shape into a roll.

Roll it in the middle of the pan (it should be round with a diameter of about 20-24 centimeters), in which you will bake the pie (pre-grease the dish with oil and sprinkle with flour, you can also use a silicone version).

Do the same with the rest of the dough and filling.

Beat the egg with the milk / cream and pour this mixture over the pie.

Bake in a well-heated oven for about an hour at 200 degrees.

The exact time depends on the oven, so make sure it is ready.

Enjoy your meal!
