How To Cook Walnut Triangles With Apricot Jam And Chocolate - Recipe

Required products :

75 grams of semolina
75 grams of flour
70 grams of flour at room temperature
50 grams of sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

About the filling :

4 tablespoons apricot jam (marmalade)
100 grams butter
100 grams sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
200 grams chopped walnuts (can almonds or hazelnuts)
50 grams chopped dark chocolate


Preparation :
Mix semolina and flour, add the leavening agent, then the butter at room temperature and the egg, sugar. Knead the dough, wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

 

Grease the bottom of a suitable form with oil and distribute the dough evenly in it.

 

Heat the jam and cover the base with it.

  

It's time for the stuffing. Mix the butter and sugar (including vanilla) in a saucepan, add 2 tablespoons of water and place the combination on the hob. When it boils, add the chopped nuts and stir.

 

Pour the filling over the layer of jam and flatten. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 45 minutes.

 

When you take it out, leave it to cool and cut the cake into squares, and cut them in two diagonally to make triangles.

 

Melt the chocolate in a water bath and dip one end of each of the resulting triangles in it. Arrange them on parchment and leave until the chocolate hardens.
