How To Cook Walnuts With Drunk Cherries And Cocoa - Recipe

Required products :

  • 200 grams of walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • cocoa powder
  • drunk cherries (or small plums)
  • cognac or rum if desired

Method of preparation :

Pour the sugar into a saucepan and pour the water, put on medium heat and boil a thick syrup. Crush or grind the walnuts, add the syrup to them and stir. If you are going to use cognac or rum, now is the time to add a little. Wait a while for the mixture to cool so you can feel it with your hands. Take some of it (it is best to wet your palms), flatten, put the fruit in the middle and form a candy. Make the other candies in the same way. Leave them for 15 minutes to dry and roll in cocoa. Wait an hour and you can serve.
