How To Cook Warm Sandwiches With Croissant And Mushrooms - Recipe

Required products :

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 500 grams of mushrooms, chopped
  • 12 mini croissants without filling
  • 3 teaspoons baby spinach
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Gruyere cheese, grated
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons fresh milk

Method of preparation :

Grease a pan with grease of your choice.

Fry the mushrooms in olive oil until browned for about 6-8 minutes.

While they cook. cut the croissants in half to make sandwich cakes, being careful not to cut them all the way through.

Fill them with a little spinach and cheese (keeping 1/2 cup of it) and arrange them in the tray with the cut chat up.

Distribute the mushrooms between the croissants.

In a bowl, beat the eggs with the milk and season with salt and pepper. Drizzle the croissants with the egg mixture and sprinkle on top with the remaining cheese. Refrigerate, wrapped in plastic wrap, for a minimum of 15 minutes, preferably overnight. Remove the plastic wrap. Cover with aluminum and bake at 190 degrees in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for another 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
