Learn how to cook "Warmed by zucchini with tomatoes and bechamel sauce". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 1 kg of zucchini
  • 1-2 tomatoes
  • 100 grams of yellow cheese
  • 500 milliliters of fresh milk
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 60 grams of butter + for a little to spread the form
  • grated nutmeg, black pepper, salt

Method of preparation :

Cut the zucchini into circles about 1/2 centimeter thick, arrange them in a greased pan and bake for about 10 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees (until golden).

Then place half of them in a tray (approximate dimensions 28 x 18 cm), arranging them, overlapping them slightly. Spread the chopped tomatoes on them.

The sauce

Melt the butter in a pan, pour the flour into it and stir to avoid lumps. Pour the milk in a thin stream, add the spices and cook over low heat until thickened, stirring in the meantime (the consistency of the sauce should resemble liquid cream).

Pour it over the vegetables in the pan, but do not use the whole amount at once, because it can be a lot. The sauce should only cover the layers of zucchini and tomatoes. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the grated yellow cheese.

Arrange a second row of the remaining zucchini, add salt, sprinkle with black pepper and finish warmed with the second half of the cheese.

Bake the dish for a quarter of an hour in a preheated 180 degree oven (until a golden crust forms) and serve immediately.

Have a good time!
