It is mainly consumed on weekends, when we all like to sleep late. That is why the hours from 11:00 to 16:00 are the special time for brunch. No time for breakfast or lunch, but for something tasty and favorite.
Have you ever heard of Guy Beringer? He is the genius, the author who invented the brunch in 1895. His inspiration came from his own hangover. According to him, people who drink a lot of alcohol on Saturday evenings should give up breakfast on Sunday and enjoy breakfast-lunch. The main purpose of the brunch is to shake off the headache caused by the hangover and give your stomach a restful stomach before consuming serious food such as meat. Thanks to Mr. Beringer, we enjoy pancakes with a Bloody Mary cocktail.
Time spent in brunch is time spent on vacation, in communication with friends, with family in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. In combination with delicious food, the picture becomes complete.
Brunch for breakfast and lunch usually includes fruits, salads, eggs, omelets, American breakfast, sausages, burgers, burritos, soups, pasta, grilled meat, pancakes, pastries and more. And to make the experience even more enjoyable, be sure to add a glass of smoothie, fresh, champagne, wine, cocktail or other refreshing drink.

1. PancakesAn absolute favorite for our brunch Sunday feast. Starting from easy and quick banana pancakes with 2 ingredients, to the traditional and favorite of all grandmother's pancakes. The pancakes are the perfect end to a working week and recharging with new strength and happiness for the weekend.
2. Eggs Benedict
Traditional American breakfast or brunch. Benedict eggs are made from bread or bread divided into two and garnished with poached egg, bacon or ham and Dutch sauce.
3. Omelet
A dish made from beaten eggs fried in butter or oil. Cheese, hot red pepper, vegetables, mushrooms, meat or a combination of them can also be added to the brunch omelette.
4. American breakfast
It is prepared from 2 eggs (poached or fried), pieces of bacon or sausage, slices of bread with jam or jelly and butter, pancakes with syrup, cornflakes or muesli, or other cereals, coffee or tea, orange juice or grapefruit juice.
5. Pizza
The good old and loved by all pizza. To prepare it, you can add everything you have in stock in the refrigerator. Colorful vegetables, juicy bites of grilled meat, fresh green spices, cheese mix. Basically, anything you love can be added to the spread dough bought from the store or kneaded by hand by you, and become your favorite brunch pizza.
6. Cocktail
The combination of a delicious brunch with a suitable cocktail or a jug of iced tea with slices of lemon is a must to immerse yourself in the magic of brunch.
Brunch can also be prepared at home and does not have to be only on the weekend, you do not have to go to a special place to enjoy it.
A Bulgarian brunch, prepared in a home atmosphere with our loved ones in the countryside, in the yard or on a picnic in nature, may include mekis, traditional Bulgarian pie, grandmother's homemade lyutenitsa and other extremely tasty Bulgarian dishes.
