Necessary products (for about 10 meatballs) :

200 grams of white beans

80 grams of rice (can basmati)

3 tablespoons softened butter

1/2 teaspoon asafetida (if you do not have the spice, use another of your choice)

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon dried dill

ground black pepper to taste

salt to taste

breadcrumbs

Method of preparation :

Pre-soak the beans in water overnight, then boil or steam. Put the rice to cook in a separate bowl (do not salt the water).

Grind together the cooked products with a blender, add the butter, spices and mix well.

From the resulting "minced meat" form meatballs with wet hands, roll them in breadcrumbs and fry them in hot fat. If you prefer a healthier option, then bake the meatballs in the oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

You can serve with a garnish of fresh vegetables, sour cream, various sauces and greens :)
