How To Cook Wholemeal Pizza With Caramelized Onions And Sausages - Recipe

Necessary products:

 

  • 350 grams of sausage
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 500 grams of wholemeal pizza dough
  • 2 chopped red onions
  • 1 fennel root, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 150 grams of grated yellow cheese
  • 3-4 stalks of chives, finely chopped
 
Method of preparation: 
 
 
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, grease a pan and spread the dough. Bake the marshmallows until golden brown and cool.

Meanwhile, heat the olive oil, chop, fry and sauté the sausages for 4-5 minutes. Drain them and saute the onion and fennel in the same fat.

Season with salt and pepper, stew the mixture for 15-20 minutes until the vegetables soften and begin to caramelize.

Coat the prepared loaf with olive oil, distribute the stuffing and sausage, sprinkle with yellow cheese and bake for 10 minutes. When ready, cool, cut the pizza into pieces, garnish with chopped chives and serve.
