How To Cook Wholemeal Saltines With Butter And Yellow Cheese - Recipe

Required products :

  • 100 grams of wholemeal flour
  • 50 grams of self-swelling flour
  • 25 grams of fine oatmeal
  • 100 grams of butter, softened
  • 100 grams of yellow cheese, finely grated
  • 1 large egg yolk, lightly beaten

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and cover a large baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Mix the flour and oatmeal in a large bowl. Stir.
  • Add the butter and rub it in with your fingers until oil crumbs form.
  • Add the grated yellow cheese and egg yolk and mix with a fork.
  • Use your palms to knead a smooth dough.
  • Roll it between two sheets of baking paper to a thickness of about 5 millimeters.
  • Cut the pickles into shapes and distribute them in the pan. Roll out the remaining dough and cut again.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 12-14 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow the pickles to cool and harden briefly before removing them from the pan.
  • Submit and enjoy them.
