How To Cook Wine Stew With Beef, Rosemary And Vegetables - Recipe

Necessary products:

 

  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 1 kg of red potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 400-500 grams of chopped beef
  • 3-4 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 3-4 whole cloves of garlic, unpeeled
  • 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 300 milliliters of red wine
  • salt, pepper to taste
  • 300 grams of tomato puree
  • 2-3 leaves of fresh mint, finely chopped
  • fresh parsley of your choice
  • 1 teaspoon chopped savory

 

Method of preparation:

 

Put onions, carrots, potatoes, rosemary, garlic, olive oil, meat and wine in a suitable deep bowl. Add salt, pepper and tomato paste.

Stir and let the mixture stand for 2 hours to absorb all the flavors and aromas. Turn the stove to medium, pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook for an hour.

Reduce the heat to a minimum and continue the process for another hour and a half. Season the dish with fresh mint, parsley and savory. When ready, cool, distribute on a plate and serve.
