How To Cook Wreath Of Minced Meat With Bacon, Onion And Garlic - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup fresh milk
  • 1 medium-sized yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 230 grams of bacon, finely chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Worcester sauce
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 900 grams of minced meat / beef, pork or mixture /
  • 1/2 cup homemade ketchup

Method of preparation :

 

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease the bottom and walls of a cake pan.
  • In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and milk. Stir and set aside.
  • Beat the eggs in a large bowl using a fork.
  • Add the finely chopped onion, garlic and bacon. Stir briefly.
  • Add the mixture with the breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, oregano and black pepper. Stir.
  • Add the minced meat and knead it briefly without overdoing it.
  • Transfer it to the prepared form and press lightly with your fingers.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cover the bottom of the pan with aluminum foil.
  • Remove the form from the oven and use a knife to carefully separate the meat from the walls.
  • Turn into the prepared pan, spread with homemade ketchup and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Allow the minced wreath to cool briefly before cutting and serving.
