Necessary products

For the dough:

  • 5 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 cup sour cream (sour)
  • 2.5 teaspoons wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons crystal sugar

For coverage:

  • 5 tablespoons fresh milk
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 150 grams of dark chocolate
  • 100 grams of walnuts

Method of preparation :

Using a mixer, beat the eggs and sugar (including the vanilla) until white. Without stopping the process, add the sour cream, followed by the flour sifted with the leavening agent. Beat until smooth.

Divide the resulting dough into 2 equal parts. Add cocoa to one and beat with a mixer, leave the other.

Cover with parchment round shape and with a tablespoon start to put the two mixtures, alternating them, first filling the center of the dish. Continue like this until the dough is exhausted.

Bake the cake for 40 minutes in the oven, which you previously heated to 180 degrees.

During this time, make the glaze.

Melt the chocolate in a water bath, breaking it into pieces beforehand. Once removed from the heat and pour 5 tablespoons of milk, cocoa and stir until a homogeneous mixture.

When the cake is baked, turn it over on a wide flat dish / tray, wait for it to cool and cover the chocolate icing on all sides.

Sprinkle with crushed walnuts when the coating has cooled slightly.

Enjoy!
