Required products :

  • 900 grams of zucchini
  • 1 kg of sugar
  • 300 milliliters of water
  • juice of 1 lemon

 

Method of preparation :

Wash the zucchini well and let the water drain well. Then blanch them for 2 minutes in boiling water.

Peel them, cut into cubes, put in a saucepan and sprinkle with 400 grams of sugar. Let stand 1-1.5 hours and then place the dish on the stove.

Cook over low heat until soft and add the remaining sugar.
Let the zucchini remain on the stove until the consistency thickens, not forgetting to stir during this time.

Pour the lemon juice, cook for another 15 minutes and distribute the jam in pre-sterilized jars.

They should be dry and warm and the jam hot. Once filled, close immediately.
Store in a cool place.
