How To Cook Zucchini Stuffed With Ham And Walnuts In Batter - Recipe

Necessary products

 

For the dough:

1 teaspoon flour

1 egg

pinch of salt

1 teaspoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon water

 

For the stuffing:

1 small zucchini

80 grams of ham

80 grams of walnuts

2 onions

80 grams of grated yellow cheese

50 milliliters of cooking cream

1 teaspoon oil

salt and pepper to taste

 

Method of preparation :

Sift the flour with a pinch of salt in a suitable container. Add the egg, olive oil and water. Knead a smooth homogeneous dough, place in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Leave to stand for 1 hour.

 

Wash the zucchini and cut into thin long strips.

 

Put them in boiling water for a minute, then drain the liquid with a colander, rinse with ice water and dry the vegetables.

  

Peel an onion. Cut one head into 4 parts and place in a bowl of boiling water together with the walnuts. Let boil for 15 minutes. Then strain through a fine sieve. Grind the walnuts, onion and ham. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

 

Roll out a thin sheet of dough. Arrange the zucchini on it and distribute the finished filling evenly at one end.

 

Roll up a roll, which you cut into pieces 4 cm long. Arrange them vertically in a tray, placing them close together so that they do not fall apart in the dish.

  

Cut the second onion and fry in hot oil for about 4 minutes. Add the cream, grated yellow cheese, stir and remove the mixture from the heat.

Pour the sauce over the rolls and bake the dish in the oven at 190 degrees for 20 minutes.
