How To Get Rid Of Toxins After The Holiday?

After the festive "food" atmosphere, it is necessary to eat less and lighter foods, as well as to limit alcohol consumption.

Here comes the end of the Christmas and New Year holidays. The period of adaptation from rest to work and the old hectic daily life is coming. However, in addition to our psyche, we have to take care of our body.

Given the rich meals, we definitely need a lighter diet to lighten our body and help cleanse it of toxins. First of all, we must drastically limit and preferably stop completely alcohol consumption.

During the festive, "dining" days, along with the numerous amounts of varied food, we invariably consume larger amounts of alcohol. In this way, however, the liver is burdened as it has the task of processing all the nutrients in the body.

It is also the organ that processes alcohol by purifying the blood and the whole body of toxic substances formed during its consumption with the help of enzymes.

On the other hand, this process is very slow, so when food and alcohol are consumed in large quantities, the liver is extremely busy.

To support our body, in the first few days after the holidays we should switch to a lighter diet, in which mainly fruits and vegetables are present.

It is also important to consume more tea, however, to be sweetened with honey, as it contains hundreds of useful substances for the body and at the same time does not burden the pancreas.

Water should be in larger quantities than usual because it is important for maintaining the chemical reactions that take place in the cells and is needed to remove toxins from the body. We need to replace all soft drinks with water.

However, in our desire to unload the body, we should not go to the other extreme and undergo strict diets and starvation. The recommended step is to reduce food intake, not stop it completely.

If, however, someone decides to undergo a more extreme deprivation of food, it should not last more than 3 days, then slowly and gradually switch to a normal diet.

On the other hand, when it comes to highly one-sided diets - they should not last longer than20 days. If we continue to deprive our body of a nutrient for a longer period of time, there is a risk of damage to an organ.

Physical activity should also not be neglected. Any additional walk would be helpful, as would a regular visit to the fitness center.
