Coffee with additives affects weight, according to a study by American scientists. They studied the energy value of 3,000 servings of coffee from 115 different restaurants and cafes in New York and found that a coffee or tea contains 63 calories when they contain milk and sugar. If the coffee is enriched with aroma, cream is added, the energy value can reach 240 kcal per cup.
The big coffee with various flavorings and cream, which is offered in the American type of restaurants, contains not less than 750 kcal!
For those who are watching their weight, pure coffee or tea is suitable. Their caloric content can be no more than 10 kcal. It is permissible to add a little low-fat milk in them.
