It Is No Coincidence That The Peach Is The Queen Of Summer Fruits

Peach discreetly fills us with mood, youth and health, thanks to the useful nutrients and water contained in it.

Did you know that a medium-sized peach contains as many calories as half a banana? Yes, peach is considered low in calories , at the same time it is juicy and sweet, invigorating both our eyes and our body. 100 g of peaches contains only 39 kcal, most of which come from carbohydrates in the fruit. 9.9 g is their total amount, as 8.4 g are sugars and the remaining 1.5 g are useful fibers. Peach is extremely rich in water - almost 90 g out of a hundred are actually water , but with it we get taste, useful nutrients and energy. This makes it an excellent breakfast for periods when we feel unnecessarily hungry and we can offer it to everyone's snack table, especially when we know we need vitamins and minerals.

The peach can easily be called the summer "apple" or the queen of summer fruits. Even if strawberries and cherries are favorites, peaches are the ones we can eat for the longest time during the warmer months. Once secured, it is not necessary to consume it immediately, it is more durable than red small fruits and is relatively durable to travel.

Peach, like strawberry, can be mixed with a number of other foods to make a juicy and delicious dessert . One of the bliss we can afford is to mix pieces of raw peach with yogurt and cottage cheese - if desired, we can add oatmeal and nuts - leaving the mixture to stand for a while so that the fruit can share aromas and juices. Peach, like apricot, can give incredibly sweet, but also sweets and memorable fruit cakes.

What is the difference between the nutritional qualities of peach? It contains 84 mg of omega-6 fatty acids , omega-3 is only 2 mg, but it is still there. No starch, no saturated fat and almost no protein.

Of the typical plant nutrients, it contains 10 mg of phytosterols , which contributes to good mood in women, a sense of femininity and sex appeal. Peach helps ladies maintain their beauty and youth.

Of the vitamins, the largest is the amount of ascorbic acid - 6.6 mg, which is equivalent to 11% of daily needs. We know that vitamin C is an excellent antioxidant and helps our body against inflammatory processes that can occur due to free radicals or infections, and, alas, summer creates the condition for the occurrence of such often. We should not forget that vitamin C plays an essential role in the formation of collagen in the skin, which keeps it firm. A study published in the journal Nutrients mentions that it stabilizes collagen molecular structure by stimulating messenger RNA and transmitting fibroblasts to the connective tissue of the skin to produce collagen .

It also contains 11% of our daily needs of vitamin A and 4% of vitamin E , which means that we get a good complex in peach for fresh skin and antioxidant effect.

There are other vitamins such as K - 3%, niacin (vitamin B3) - 4% and pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) - 2%.

Compared to minerals, the most important is the presence of potassium , which explains why peach is good for our blood pressure - 190 mg, or 5% of daily needs. It contains a little phosphorus, magnesium, copper, manganese, calcium, zinc and even iron.

Based on these natural ingredients, we can judge that peach is a wonderful refreshing fruit that hydrates our body, helps us cope and prevent unpleasant constipation, protects against wrinkles, but much more. The presence of fiber, useful fats, calcium, magnesium and potassium have a positive effect on cardiovascular health . Fiber helps control high bad LDL cholesterol and triglycerides and improve good HDL. And the soluble fiber in peach, in particular, reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes, according to the famous American Mayo Clinic.

If we feel that we have overdosed with salt during the day, we can restore the balance between sodium and potassium in the body by eating peaches and prevent blood pressure .

Due to the presence of vitamin A, beta-carotene and lutein , peach also supports our good eyesight , which we manage to load twice in the summer - from the screens and exposure to strong sunlight.
