The nut diet was proposed by an Italian specialist in the 1980s. Its main purpose is to replace animal protein with that contained in nuts (walnuts, cashews, hazelnuts, almonds). Unlike most extreme diets, the menu of the one with nuts is balanced and has only one limitation - the portion at each meal should not exceed 250 grams. This diet is set for 10 days, during which you need to lose 3 pounds. During this period, do not consume sugar and sweets.
About the menu
Breakfast options:
- salad of arugula, tomatoes, crushed almonds, seasoned with olive oil, pie, black coffee;
- cottage cheese casserole with orange juice sauce, sprinkled with almonds, tea;
- a slice of pizza stuffed with tomatoes, green peppers and goat cheese sprinkled with crushed cashews.
Lunch options:
- cream soup of potatoes and dill, lettuce with olive oil and ground nuts, a glass of vegetable juice (tomato, carrot or pumpkin);
- cream soup of broccoli and white mushrooms with cream, a handful of walnuts, a handful of raisins or prunes, berry juice (strawberry, blackcurrant, cherry)
- tomato juice with basil, french fries salad and Lolo Rosso leaves with mayonnaise, a glass of unsweetened yogurt to drink.
Options for afternoon breakfast:
- a handful of nuts, a handful of raisins;
- a handful of nuts, an apple;
- a handful of nuts, a handful of dates.
Dinner options:
- more liquid oatmeal, prepared with water, herbal tea (chamomile, mint, lemon balm);
- salad of grated carrots with cream, prune compote or dried apricots;
- brined cheese salad, scalded spinach and olive oil, cold karkade tea.
