  • rapid heartbeat;
  • increased sweating;
  • trembling fingers.

You should not switch to vegetarianism unless you have been eating this way for a long time. Red clover, millet and soy products are considered the most serious enemies of the thyroid gland, as they are rich in isoflavones and other compounds that interfere with the synthesis of enzymes needed for the hormones T3 and T4.

In chronic thyroiditis, it is necessary to maintain an optimal balance of nutrients such as  carbohydrates , fats and proteins. This also applies to all other forms of the disease.

Feeding can be every three hours. The menu should include more vegetable dishes and products that contain unsaturated fatty acids (such as fatty fish and fish oil).

Saturated fats are subject to sharp reduction. Carbohydrates obtained from cereals are a mandatory part of the menu (for example: porridge, bread and pasta).

Spicy, smoked, salted and fried products, as well as canned foods, should not be consumed.

Food should be saturated with antioxidants - they remove free radicals and other harmful substances from the body. For this purpose, take freshly squeezed carrot and beet juice (in a ratio of 3: 1), to which add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil (preferably flaxseed) or lemon and cabbage juice . Rosehip decoction is also useful.

Since thyroid problems affect other organs and systems in the human body, nutrition must be determined according to all concomitant diseases and ailments of the individual patient.
