A study conducted by RAND Corporation , which included 96% of Chinese restaurants in America, found that portions contained more sodium and fat than the recommended daily intake.

A large portion in a Chinese restaurant contains 2580 calories, 68 g of saturated fat and 2.621 mg of sodium.

Experts explain that the daily intake of saturated fat should be up to 20 g and the amount of sodium should be 2.4000 mg.

 


If the menu indicates the amount of calories in the dish, it will reduce obesity and the choice of unhealthy and high-calorie foods, according to American experts.

At this stage, the best way to deal with the problem is to share the portion between several people when visiting Chinese restaurants. This is the best way to regulate your food intake and calories.

It is also advisable not to overdo the consumption of this type of food, as they can seriously damage weight and health, they added.

Not only Chinese cuisine poses a health risk. In some cases, Italian and Mexican menusare the worst choice, experts explain, because this food has the highest content of saturated fat, which increases the risk of heart disease.
