Orthomolecular Nutrition Or How To Find Salvation From Deadly Diseases Through Nutrition

Orthomolecular nutrition claims to guarantee a slim waist, complete health and cure of dangerous diseases.

Orthomolecular nutrition claims to guarantee a slim waist, complete health and cure of dangerous diseases. Is this true and what is the effectiveness of orthomolecular nutrition?

Clearly, fitness without a diet is like a tree without a root. But the diet began to acquire a completely different meaning with the discovery of orthomolecular nutrition. The word "orthomolecularity" is a combination of two words - orthos, which means good, good and molecular, coming from a molecule or the smallest building block of substances.

In the very recent past, namely in 1968, Linus Pauling - a genius scientist, one of the doyens of molecular biology, the discoverer of sickle cell anemia , first introduced this so complex term. Through it, he explains how he treats patients with even incurable diseases. Nowadays, there is a whole branch of medicine called orthomolecular medicine. It is also known by another name - Nutrition.

What are the orthomolecules that Pauling discovered? These are the substances that make up all living organisms on the planet, including His Majesty Man. These substances include vitamins, trace elements, minerals, amino acids, hormones, enzymes, phytochemicals and other bioactive substances. It is the introduction of additional doses of these substances in the human body that leads to the treatment of serious diseases. Something as simple as it is complex, but undeniably ingenious.

Scientist Thomason Edison, more than a century ago, said that in the future, doctors will cure us of diseases through food. But not all modern scientists support the idea of treatment with vitamins and minerals. They believe that drugs are the only alternative to recovery. Here it is important to open a bracket and ask ourselves which vitamins are in question - because many of the synthetic ones do not have a beneficial effect on our health. That is why we are again based on the idea that vitamins are taken in the form of food. It includes cereals, supplying the body with B vitamins, magnesium, zinc, chromium. Other foods are fruits and vegetables, but they must be of proven and certain origin, to know where they are grown. Unfortunately, most growers are chasing higher yields using multiple pesticides. As a result, plant foods sometimes contain substances that are harmful to the human body.

Mineral fertilizers are used in large farms. Producers get paid for the amount of vegetables, not for the nutrients in them. Thus, the produced crop is poor in nutrients and even more dangerous - it is harmful because of the preparations with which it is treated.

Another problem in the production of vitamin-rich crops is the lack of diversity. There are countless edible plants, but in modern agriculture attention is paid to the production of only a few crops. Huge areas are covered with the same plant, which affects the ecological balance and sets the tone in our menu. To provide a rich set of nutrients to our body, we need a varied diet.

Regarding orthomolecular medicine, low levels of vitamins C and B12 have been shown to lead to depression. Alzheimer's patients who were given large amounts of vitamin E improved and the disease was delayed by 7 months. Also, cases of psychosis, schizophrenia, autism and other mental illnesses, acne and skin problems, allergic reactions, dementia, diabetes, osteoarthritis, overweight, immune weakness, osteoporosis, prostatitis, hypertension, chronic degenerative diseases, Crohn's disease, eczema and neurodermatitis, inflammatory diseases, rheumatism, ovulation problems, thinking and concentration, gout, cataracts, flu infections, hair and nail problems, are positively affected by orthomolecular treatment.

In 1978, Dr. Hofer began treating cancer patients with high doses of  vitamin C and vitamin B3 . Even a woman with pancreatic cancer begins to take 10 grams of vitamin C every day. Dr. Hofer also talks about his positive results in the treatment of 800 advanced cancer patients. He wrote the following in his medical notebook:

"After the woman with pancreatic cancer, the accident came to me again through the fate of a man with prostate cancer with metastases in the pelvis. He had been told at the oncology clinic that he had no chance of treatment. I prescribed him a nutritional treatment, in which the most important were the injections of large doses of vitamin C. After about half a year, my doctor called me and said in amazement that the X-rays did not show the slightest sign of cancer in the body.

For 21 years, Dr. Hofer has treated more than 1,000 cancer patients with advanced cancer. He administered nutrient therapy to each of them, which included a large intake of vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin B3, coenzyme Q 10, selenium, carotenoids and beta-carotene, folic acid, calcium and magnesium, zinc and copper. Almost all patients were cured. This is the pinnacle of science - created by man for man.

And for skeptical scientists who believe that human medicine is not serious, we end with the following quote: " A vitamin can have the effect of a drug, but a drug can never have the effect of a vitamin."
