Parents Do Not Recognize Obesity In Their Own Children

According to the Medical Research Council in England, many people do not recognize fullness in their own children.

Dr. Susan Jeb and her colleagues in the Nutrition Research Division in England have identified several major obstacles to the practical application of a healthy lifestyle.

There is evidence that people have a misconception about their own weight and even more misconceptions about their children when they are overweight or obese.

Hectic daily life, irregular working hours and fears that a healthy lifestyle is difficult to achieve, make people continue to live their lives.
According to experts, the average time spent on cooking in the last 2 decades has been reduced from 2 hours to 20 minutes.

For security reasons, parents do not always allow their children to return on foot from school or play outside.

Another major problem parents face is the willingness of their children to eat new unhealthy foods.
Attempts to persuade children to eat healthily are often overshadowed by the desire to have a good time.

Dr. Jeb reports that 80% of parents know that poor diet and lack of physical activity lead to obesity. But people don't realize that this also applies to their own child, she says. More than 40% of children over the age of 6 choose their own dinner in 50% of cases, but in fact they do not have enough knowledge and experience to make a reasonable choice.
