Italian scientists have conducted a large-scale study, the results of which show that pasta and especially white bread and pasta are extremely harmful to women's health.
 

 

A study of more than 47,000 men and women found that gluten-rich pasta was rapidly absorbed by the body and increased blood glucose levels. Scientists have concluded that frequent consumption of white bread and various types of pasta doubles the risk of cardiovascular disease in women.
 



Studies have shown that men are not at risk for cardiovascular problems.
 


The authors of the study specify that the harmful effect is observed only when consuming white bread, but not when eating whole grains and rye products, which are rich in fiber and fiber.

However, nutritionists are adamant that reducing carbohydrates and proteins in the diet can have a short-term effect. In the long run, however, the ideal weight lies in a high-carbohydrate but low-fat diet.
