Peaches have a wide variety of nutrients that are vital for the healthy functioning of the body. The delicious fruits contain vitamin A, beta-carotene and vitamins C (ascorbic acid), E (alpha-tocopherol), K (phylloquinone), B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B-6, folate and pantothenic acid. Peach pulp has antioxidant properties . The presence of chlorogenic acid in them also contributes to their protective properties. Lutein zeaxanthin and beta-cryoxanthine protect the body from the harmful effects of various diseases.
 
 
Fleshy fruits contain potassium , which is vital for proper nerve cell signals. The substance accelerates metabolic processes in the body, using carbohydrates, maintaining electrolyte balance and regulating muscle tissue. 
 
If we eat peaches more often, our skin will be healthier. This is mainly due to vitamin C, which fights free radicals and infections. It has been proven that the substances in fruits can protect us to some extent from ultraviolet radiation in the summer. Studies show that the antioxidants zeaxanthin and lutein have significant anti-inflammatory effects on skin damage caused by UV-B rays . They protect the skin from cell hyperproliferation. The flavonoids present in peaches have photoprotective effects and help prevent skin from UV-induced erythema (redness after sun exposure).
 
These fruits also contain a large amount of bioactive components that show a positive effect on obesity -related disorders . The results of a recent study show that the presence of phenolic compounds in peaches helps to combat the metabolic syndrome.
