Salza  is the common name for a group of sauces from Spanish and Mexican cuisines. It is distributed all over the world and is used as an appetizer or side dish to meat dishes.

Traditionally, salsa is made with tomatoes, peppers, onions and spices . In many countries there are varieties of sauce, such as Salza Verde (green sauce) and Salza Negra (black sauce).

The main ingredient in sauces, tomatoes, are rich in vitamins and minerals. Among them is vitamin C , which strengthens the immune system and protects against infections.

Peppers are also rich in Vitamin C. This vegetable has a proven effect in the fight against fat . Peppers help with arthritis and reduce the risk of breast cancer.

Some  spices that can be put in the sauce have healing properties and are rich in nutrients. Among them are basil, parsley and dill.

Well-prepared salsa with fresh products is extremely useful, but it is rarely consumed alone. Be careful what dishes you add it to and avoid too fatty foods.
