Spices That Give Us Not Only Taste But Also Health

Spices and herbs, familiar to us from everyday life, can have the qualities not only for the necessary addition to the dish, but are also extremely important for our health.

First part of the material

Oregano
This spice is richest in antioxidants. Its active ingredients are thymol and carvacrol . Oregano can suppress the activity of bacteria that cause infections and skin damage (Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa).

The more oregano is cooked, the more active and easy to digest its ingredients become. The accumulation of antioxidants in the body is gradual, so the more often you use spices, the better. The oxidation process is continuous and we constantly need antioxidants.

Rosemary
Contains rosemary acid and essential oils that stimulate the immune system, increase blood circulation and improve digestion. The acid also has the ability to reduce inflammatory reactions in the body.

Rosemary increases blood flow to the brain, thus improving concentration. As it undergoes heat treatment, its ingredients become more active and easy to digest.

It can be used daily without the need for interruption.

Green tea
is rich in catechin polyphenols . Green tea is a powerful antioxidant long used to slow aging. It can also prevent the growth of cancer cells.

It has the ability to reduce the level of bad cholesterol and prevent abnormal blood clots, known as thrombosis. It is also used as a means of weight loss because it improves fat oxidation and speeds up metabolism.

Use one sachet for a whole pot of tea. Or so it is accepted by Asian cultures, for whom this way of use is common.

Chlorella
It is considered a source of protein and iron because it contains all 8 essential amino acids, similar to proteins of animal origin.

The high content of chlorophyll helps eliminate toxins, maintains intestinal peristalsis and cleanses the body completely. Chlorella is rich in nucleic acid, which can help renew cells and tissues.

The high content of the antioxidant beta-carotene helps reduce oxidation in the body.

Chlorella is good for vegetarians due to the presence of vitamin B 12 and protein. It is used to cleanse the body of heavy metal pollution. It can be taken daily.

Spirulina
This is a multicellular organism without a nucleus. It is a microscopic blue-green alga that inhabits freshwater. Unlike Chlorella, it is digestible without the need for special treatment.

Spirulina is a rich source of gamma-linolenic acid. Contains antioxidants (phycocyanin, photosynthetic pigment), which are believed to have antitumor properties.

Spirulina also contains vitamin B 12, but its formula is not well digested, which means that for a vegetarian it is better to take Chlorella to get this vitamin. It can be used always and at any time.

Resveratrol
Resveratrol is a polyphenol found in grapes, red wine and some types of blueberries . It is thought to slow the growth of cancer cells in humans.

The intake of this antioxidant can be easily done through red wine and grapes.

You should consult your doctor if you decide to take resveratrol, especially if you are taking medicines such as aspirin , ibuprofen or anticoagulants . Not recommended for pregnant women.
