Spinach is low in calories, but rich in valuable nutrients that make it suitable for consumption to restore the body or lose weight.
Spinach is a leafy vegetable that, without being high in calories, has valuable nutritional value. It is rich in vitamins A, B, C and K, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, selenium and potassium.
It is said that if consumed regularly, there is no need to take supplements. It is useful not only for the eyes, but also for immunity and muscle strength. Determining for the muscles are folic acid and iron, for the eyes - lutein.
Omega-3 are natural ingredients that have an anti-inflammatory effect, which in combination with the vitamin C contained in spinach, makes it a natural ally of the body's defenses.
It can be consumed in various variants. Of course, the healthiest is in the form of a fresh salad with other vegetables and additives such as cheese, yellow cheese, meat, olives, ham, fish, croutons, etc.
One of the most adequate ways to wake up the body in the morning gives a spinach smoothie. It is prepared for a short time and at the same time is full of useful substances that fill all systems with refreshing nutrients. It can be combined with nuts, seeds and other vegetables and fruits to taste.
The combination of spinach and egg is the most favorable food for rapid recovery from illness. Thus, low-calorie, but rich in nutrients spinach, is supplemented with useful fats and nutritional value of the egg. No matter how they are prepared - as an omelet or a side dish to each other, the dish is suitable for any weight loss or weight maintenance regimen.
Indian traditional cuisine complements it with lentils or fresh cheese breadcrumbs, which further supports, respectively, the immune system with zinc and other building blocks and the body with calcium, vitamin A, protein and fat. Even if we do not have this specific product, we can combine spinach with the more traditional for the Bulgarian table cheese or cottage cheese, which can be enriched with eggs or mushrooms if desired. Spinach can be added to spaghetti, pie and quiche, as well as cook a wonderful soup with it.
