Stuffed zucchini is a favorite of many of us, and toasted bacon is irresistible. When we combine two favorite recipes we get a really great and artistic dish. We present you zucchini in a bacon shell.

Necessary products :

  • 3 zucchini
  • 220 grams cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped artichoke core
  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach
  • 1 cup mozzarella
  • 1/2 teaspoon parmesan
  • 1 clove garlic - crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot red pepper flakes
  • 12 slices of bacon
  • salt and pepper

 

Preparation:

Cover a tray with parchment and place a grid on top to arrange the zucchini later.

Cut the vegetables in half lengthwise and carve the core using a small teaspoon.

Stir in a bowl. cream cheese, artichoke, frozen spinach. Grate the mozzarella and parmesan, sprinkle with red pepper flakes and add the garlic. Combine all cheeses and vegetables well.

 

Fill the zucchini with the resulting mixture and wrap each with two slices of bacon. Arrange on a wire rack and bake for 35-40 minutes at 180 degrees until the zucchini is cooked and the bacon is crispy.

Serve once the zucchini has cooled.
