Regular consumption of citrus fruits and especially tangerines helps not only to sculpt a slender figure, but also protects against the development of dementia and cognitive impairment, according to new research.
Scientists from South Korea, analyzing the beneficial properties of tangerines, conducted a study among 60 men and women of different ages who are obese. The participants in their experiment were divided into two groups. They all follow the same motor and diet, with the difference that people from one group consume several tangerines or fresh fruit.
Two months after the start of the diet, it became clear that the volunteers who regularly ate citrus had a reduced weight and waist circumference. Another experiment shows that with the consumption of tangerinesin just one month, a 59% reduction in body fat is achieved .
In addition, tangerines are extremely beneficial for the liver, as they help to renew hepatocytes and clear the accumulated fat in the body.
