The results of a twenty-year study show that the consumption of tea and coffee does not increase the risk of breast cancer. Dr. Dajasambu Ganma of Boston College of Public Health told Reuters Health that these drinks are safe enough in moderation.

Taking into account other risk factors such as age, smoking, weight, physical activity, alcohol intake, family history, menopause, hormone replacement therapy, number of births, the researchers found no association with caffeinated beverage consumption.
