Fatty and fried foods cause a decrease in libido, and vegetables and fruits improve men's sex lives.
Nutrition is a factor that affects sex. Some foods have the ability to reduce testosterone , sexual desire and sensitivity during sex. Others influence in the opposite way. Many fruits, vegetables, spices and whole grains can regulate testosterone, increase libido and ultimately improve sex.
Maintaining a healthy waist is crucial to men's sexual desire. One study found that men with very large waists were more likely to have erectile dysfunction than men with smaller waists. Ultimately, overeating can cause weight gain, which in turn can lead to decreased libido and consequently reduced sexual intercourse.
A healthy lifestyle is the key to a better sex life. Fast and unhealthy eating can have a negative effect on sexual health. Consumption of fatty foods such as burgers, french fries has a negative effect, as trans fats, found mostly in fried foods, drastically reduce a man's libido and can even cause abnormal sperm production. It is also good to avoid sweets, including biscuits, candies and other processed foods high in simple sugars , which can reduce blood flow.
Like fried foods, alcohol can also have a negative effect on sex. According to Dr. Marian Fisher, a psychologist at St. Mary's University in Canada, alcohol reduces testosterone, which can lead to difficult erections. The reason is that alcohol reduces the levels of the love hormone oxytocin and orgasm slows down. Therefore, experts recommend that alcohol be in moderation to avoid these side effects.
It is advised that the food consumed should be light and not greasy. The menu should include many fruits and vegetables, which are rich in vitamins and minerals and stimulate sexual desire. They are believed to be powerful weapons of sexual performance.
