The state will use the budget to buy grain and other stocks for the country's annual consumption.

The state will purchase grain and other stocks in the amount of annual consumption by the entire country with the funds of the state budget. This will allow us to provide the country with a sufficient amount of food products .

Shmyhal noted that the list of critical imports will be further expanded.

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers expanded the list of critical import goods , including Wi-Fi routers from Starlink, thermal imagers, night vision devices, and power banks.

This is stated in the relevant government resolution.

Also included in the list are sugar beets, seeds, dried vegetables, several, sardines, tanks, jerry cans, telephone sets for cellular communication networks and routers, stabilizer for the food industry, malt extracts, fruit fillers, starters, dyes, plastic boxes, juices , electric batteries, anti-drone guns, portable flashlights.

Earlier, the government defined a list of critical import goods for the purchase of which the National Bank allows the purchase of foreign currency. This is the fifth expansion of this list since its initial approval.
