Tomato-milk diet for weight loss is relatively new and unknown to humans. The combination of products used in her menu is interesting and unusual enough to draw her attention.

The variety of foods included in the menu is not very large, even the diet can be defined as monotonous. It consists of the consumption of fresh tomatoes, tomato juice , milk and skim cottage cheese.

For the juice we must specify that it is recommended to use natural freshly squeezed or one intended for baby food.

As for fresh milk, it is better not to be very high in fat (not more than 1.5%). In some cases, it can be replaced with low-fat cheeses.

The diet exists in two variants according to the duration - three- and seven-day.

Three-day diet

It is stricter and is rather used as unloading days.

  • Breakfast: a glass of milk or tomato juice.
  • Lunch: 200 grams of ripe tomatoes or skim cottage cheese.
  • Dinner: a glass of skim milk or tomato juice.

Seven-day diet

This option requires the preparation of a special tomato-milk soup, the recipe of which we will indicate below.

  • Breakfast: a glass of low-fat milk or tomato juice.
  • Lunch: a portion of tomato-milk soup.
  • Afternoon snack: about 200 grams of nonfat cottage cheese or fresh ripe tomatoes.
  • Dinner: a glass of milk or tomato juice.

Necessary products for the soup :

1/2 teaspoon water

1 teaspoon skim milk

garlic, onion, basil

150 - 200 grams of cheese of the gorgonzola type

1 kg of fresh tomatoes

salt should not be used

Method of preparation :

Blanch the tomatoes and mash their soft part. Put in a saucepan and place on the stove. Pour the water and milk. When the mixture heats up, add the chopped cheese, onion, garlic, basil. Bring to a boil and simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes.

As the combination of tomatoes and milk can quickly begin to ferment, it is recommended that the soup be prepared immediately before consumption.

Recommendations

  • If you are very hungry and afraid of this, you can eat vegetables that do not contain starch, such as cucumbers or carrots.
  • For better results, it is appropriate to alternate more caloric days with low-calorie days: one day to bet on the consumption of more tomatoes, and the next - on dairy products.

Contraindications

Tomato-milk diet is contraindicated for people suffering from diseases of the digestive system. In particular, to refrain from such a regime patients with pancreatitis , ulcers, kidney stones, gout, also those who are prone to upset stomach, flatulence and heartburn.

Of course, the diet is not suitable for people with intolerance to dairy products or tomatoes.

The combination of the two main products must be very careful due to the possibility of fermentation. It is mandatory to observe a time interval between meals of about 3 hours.

It is important not to eat tomatoes and dairy products (except cheese) at the same time (in one meal).

Remember to choose fully ripe tomatoes to avoid possible problems and ailments of the gastrointestinal tract.
