An economical or fast breakfast can sabotage our intentions to lose weight. Which product can surprise us unpleasantly?
Two traditional desserts and one recommended culture can bring us unexpected side effects. We need to reconsider what we put on our table, especially when we are more immobile. As much as we sometimes do not have enough money, it is good to avoid certain foods so as not to harm ourselves more and subsequently reach higher costs. Even if we love these foods, there are options in which they are more useful.
Semolina milk is among the traditional Bulgarian desserts. It is still one of the regular afternoon snacks for young children and probably a favorite dessert of many. Semolina milk has no benefit for the body, except that it provides a lot of calories and gluten, which can even become a harmful product. The high gluten content than that would provoke an allergic reaction in prone, difficult assimilation of iron and vitamin D. Keep in mind that a serving of semolina porridge is equal to two pieces of delicious chocolate brownie - so think again and prioritize your taste buds. Of course, there is no danger to health if you eat milk with semolina or semolina halva once a month.
White rice is just as useless as grits. The problem is not that it is even consumed regularly, but that it is often served as a main course, and there are no real health benefits. Provides only energy and no protein content. No problem to consume as a side dish or in dishes that combine vegetables and meat. In case you stick to his taste, the option is to choose brown. This rice is not so milled and has retained far more useful nutrients.
The "blow below the waist" for our intentions to lose weight can be oat products. Oatmeal can be useful only when consumed as whole grains, offered as natural muesli. They can be eaten boiled or pre-chopped for a day or two to soften, if preferred. But any other form of serving oatmeal, such as porridge, processed muesli, with syrups and in combination with dried fruit will not help the diet, on the contrary. Otherwise, yes, they contain useful substances that are really not good to get rid of. For the purpose of weight loss or complete nutrition, oatmeal should not be consumed more often than 2-3 times a week. And remember - one serving includes only 2 tablespoons of oatmeal, no more!
