At the time, the favorite drink was still suspected of being carcinogenic, but a 15-year follow-up of 64,603 residents of the province of Västerbotten showed that coffee brewed in a Turkish coffee maker is better than filtered coffee: its consumption was associated with a reduced risk of breast cancer.
Later, a meta-analysis of 59 independent studies confirmed that coffee reduces the overall incidence of cancer, in particular - cancer of the bladder, colon and rectum, liver, endometrium, esophagus, pancreas, breast and prostate.
