Why Do Men Gain Weight ?!

Why do men gain weight - whether because of hereditary factors, because of age or due to something simpler ?!

It is recommended that after 35 years the man stops gaining weight. After this age, he begins to gain weight easily and usually accumulates fat.

In addition, as the years go by, the muscle tissue in the male body begins to be replaced by fat. Adipose tissue requires less energy to be maintained, which is another factor to gain weight more easily.

You should know that if you have gained 10 kg during your studies, then the lifestyle and the choice of food you eat are wrong. If this has happened, then it is time not only to take time to walk, but to run long distances. It is advisable to seek a specialist nutritionist to adjust the diet.

Over the past 25 years, the incidence of obesity among men in the United States has doubled. A 2004 study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that 71% of men over the age of 20 were overweight and 31% were obese.
In a similar study in the 1970s, 47% were overweight and 15% were obese.

Experts are trying to find the exact causes of obesity and study genetic factors, the mother's diet during pregnancy, the postponement of pregnancy to a later age. The main reason, however, remains a sedentary lifestyle and the consumption of high-calorie, cheap food.

The accumulation of fat in men occurs mainly around the waist. Fats pass through the liver and cause metabolic problems. It is possible to trigger diabetes. Being overweight can produce a heart attack, cancer, hypertension, and apnea attacks (sleep apnea) during sleep. It affects sexual life and communication with children.
