To clean the arteries, you need not only to include these products in your diet, but also to avoid alcohol and smoking and to do sports.
A famous phrase says: "We are what we eat" - and this is absolutely true. People who eat improperly inevitably suffer from the consequences in the form of obesity, hypertension, high cholesterol, etc. For this reason, in this article we want to tell you which foods are suitable for cleaning the arteries and avoiding heart problems.
Products for cleaning arteriesIncreased cholesterol and atherosclerosis are spreading more and more in Ukraine.
They cause more deaths per year than smoking and alcoholism, and the worst thing is that it happens without symptoms.
Depending on what we eat, our arteries are coated with more or less fat.
If your diet consists of high-calorie, fatty, and sugary foods, your chances of suffering from excess cholesterol, high blood pressure, and circulatory problems increase.
In addition, this food increases the risk of heart disease.
To avoid these pathologies and live a happy life, we recommend that you add the following artery-cleansing foods to your diet.
1. GarlicThis aromatic product must be in your home, it will not only help add flavor to dishes.
Garlic is rich in antioxidants, it has the ability to fight free radicals, lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure and improve blood circulation.
A clove of raw garlic a day cleans the arteries and prevents the accumulation of fat.
2. Olive oilIt is the healthiest oil and can be used in all types of dishes.
Olive oil can be used to dress a salad, it gives a unique taste to meat and fish.
Olive oil is a healthy product that does not increase cholesterol and is good for health in general.
We recommend using it in moderation so as not to overdo it with calories.
3. AvocadoThe properties of avocado are similar to olive oil. It is rich in essential fatty acids (good for the body), which prevent fat oxidation in the arteries. In addition, it lowers cholesterol and promotes satiety.
Do not hesitate and add avocado to your diet: you can use it in salads or as a dressing instead of mayonnaise.
4. OatsThis is a product that must be present on your table during breakfast. It quickly saturates, gives a lot of energy and prevents the accumulation of cholesterol on the walls of arteries.
We recommend eating oats with yogurt or preparing porridge, in which you can add fruit to enhance the effect.
5. Fruits with pectinStrawberries, apples, grapefruit and grapes (among others) are good for fighting cholesterol.
These fruits are high in pectin, a soluble fiber that lowers low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol.
This vegetable is very rich in useful properties.
For example, asparagus helps to naturally clean the arteries, as well as reduce the level of bad cholesterol (LDL) in the blood and prevent the formation of blood clots.
Boiled, fried, baked, stewed - asparagus is good in any form.
7. PomegranateMore precisely, pomegranate juice, because it is rich in antioxidants (more than orange juice, blueberries or blackberries).
This beautiful red drink reduces the damage caused by the accumulated fat in the arteries.
One glass for breakfast is quite enough. For the best effect, the juice should be natural (it is better to prepare it yourself, if possible).
8. SoybeansSoy and soy products (including tofu) slightly lower cholesterol (LDL).
This tasty cabbage contains a lot of vitamin K, which helps absorb calcium.
In addition, broccoli enriches the body with fiber and thus promotes arterial health.
Broccoli can be stewed, fried with a small amount of oil (olive) or used as a filling for pies.
10. Blue fishThis special group of fish consists of the following species:
Blue fish is very useful because it provides the body with omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for cleaning the arteries.
They also prevent the formation of blood clots and help balance blood pressure.
Try to eat any of the listed fish three times a week in baked or fried form.
11. EggplantsThis dark vegetable cleans the arteries and reduces the cholesterol content in the blood as much as possible.
The wonderful properties of eggplants are explained by their content of soluble fibers, which are an indispensable part of nutrition for heart health.
The best thing is that it is a very versatile product that can be prepared in thousands of different ways.
12. TurmericThis bright spice not only adds flavor to your dishes, but also has many interesting properties.
For example, turmeric helps reduce inflammatory processes and has healing properties, helps fight the accumulation of fats in the arteries.
And, as if that were not enough, it also reduces the risk of blood clots.
