If we had to describe the perfect food , the most likely description would be: healthy, tasty, one that saturates us with a small amount for hours. In fact, there are such foods, some experts explain - with low energy density, in which a larger portion does not mean more calories

People who eat eggs for breakfast consume 330 fewer calories during the rest of the day, according to a study. Scientists explain that eggs are one of the few foods that are "finished proteins", which means that they contain all nine essential amino acids that the body cannot produce on its own. 
 
Once absorbed, these amino acids "unlock" hormones in the gut that suppress appetite . 
 
 
 

Bean soup


Soups have a high water content, which means that they "fill" the stomach with few calories . Bean soups are rich in fiber and "good" carbohydrates , which slow down the release of sugar into the blood . Once in the stomach, fiber and water activate receptors that "signal" to the brain that we are no longer hungry.
