We can satisfy the body's need for water by consuming some, even unpredictable, fruit and fruit juices ...
In summer the fruits are special. It is as if nature knows what our body needs and provides it generously. It is extremely important to supply our body with enough water during the warmer months , but drinking water is not the only way we can supply it with fluids.
In addition to juices and soups, the fruits themselves can be a good enough cocktail for health. A cocktail for health, because, in addition to their rich water content, they also supply a suitable combination of useful nutrients to help the body maintain its water and electrolyte balance, health and beauty in general.
The watermelonis not the only fruit in this series, is one of it, but in fact it is the one that can satisfy thirst best. When the body is well hydrated, by taking a slice of watermelon, we feel cool and fresh. Curiously, watermelon also contains such an ingredient as lycopene, which strengthens the skin's defenses against the sun's rays. Watermelon is rich in vitamins A and C , which gives the skin the strength to maintain beauty, but also the whole body to resist infections and free radicals.
The pineappleis a citrus fruit that evokes an association for cocktails. There is nothing more refreshing on the beach than the opportunity to drink a glass of chilled pineapple juice. Its velvety taste comes with a mix of vitamins, antioxidants and enzymes that strengthen the body's resistance to infections - it's summer and bacteria and other microorganisms are everywhere, spread quickly, and in most cases our skin is not protected and scratches are common. Bromelain - an enzyme in pineapple - helps absorb protein in the diet, which is why in some kitchens meat is served with pineapple slices. If you suffer from muscle fever, after meters of swimming from the first day of the sea, pineapple juice will help the muscles to recover quickly and prevent unpleasant cramps in the water.
It is no coincidence that in some cultures orange juice is consumed like coffee for us. Its aroma can cheer us up while we are still with our eyes closed. 80% of the orange is water, so consuming it at any part of the day can flavor the need to drink water. It is rich in potassium, which makes it a good product for regulating blood pressure, but also for preventing muscle cramps during physical activity. In addition, orange contains over 170 different phytocompounds and more than 60 flavonoids, which have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
