Lean spicy galette with apples

Winter is already outside the window, but we only have a calendar winter. And when it's cold outside, you want hot tea with something delicious. Apple galette is an easy to prepare, extremely tasty and healthy dish. The recipe for its preparation is extremely simple:

  • Knead the dough (200 g of flour, 80 ml of vegetable oil, warm boiled water).
  • Add half a teaspoon of cinnamon, cardamom and ginger, a pinch of salt and sugar to the dough.
  • Wrap the finished dough in cling film and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Peel the apples and cut them into slices.
  • Roll out the dough, spread the apples on it, form a side from the dough and put the galette in the oven. Bake in the oven at a temperature of 180 °C for about 25 minutes.

 

Despite the fact that this apple dish turns out to be quite large in size - the galette is eaten instantly!

 
Oatmeal with apples and raisins
 

Such apple dishes are perfect for breakfast, when the body needs a shock dose of vitamins and minerals. Apples contain vitamins C, B1, B2, P, E, including manganese and potassium. Oat flakes contain vitamins A, B6 and K, as well as carotene, riboflavin, tocopherol and thiamin. Raisins not only contain potassium in large quantities, but also such elements as sodium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, and iron. Raisins also contain vitamins B1, B2, B5. What is not a perfect breakfast for you?

To prepare, you will need 100 g of oatmeal, one large apple and a handful of raisins. Cook porridge as usual. Add diced apples and raisins to it. For better assimilation of vitamins and minerals, you can add a teaspoon of olive oil to the porridge. Have a nice breakfast!

To prepare the drink you need:

  • Wash one large or two small apples and cut them into pieces along with the skin. Put them in a pan.
  • Add mint, 1 cm ginger root, 1 cinnamon stick, 4 clove buds.
  • Pour everything with six glasses of bottled water, bring to a boil, reduce the heat to a minimum and cook for 15 minutes. Then you need to remove the pan from the heat, let it cool to 35-40 ̊С, add honey, mix, cover with a lid and leave to infuse for 15-20 minutes. Strain the finished drink through cheesecloth or a fine sieve before use.

Due to the beneficial properties of honey, apple puree is an excellent medicine: antiviral, anti-inflammatory, warming, tonic, restorative, immunomodulatory. You should drink the drink to prevent colds, indigestion, and metabolic disorders.
