5 Fruits With Low Sugar Content

Among the fruits that contain a small amount of sugar are strawberries, avocados, oranges, lemons and others.

All fruits contain sugar , although there are some that are lower in content than others. In the middle rows you can see what these fruits are.

 

1. Berries


Strawberries are low in sugar but high in fiber. A cup of strawberries contains about 7 g of sugar. However, strawberries are a very good source of vitamin C, an antioxidant that is good for all health, including immunity and skin. These red fruits are rich in manganese , folate, potassium and to a lesser extent iron, copper, magnesium, phosphorus, vitamin B6, K and E. They also contain anthocyanins, another type of antioxidant. Their consumption regulates blood sugar and prevents cancer cells.  

2. Lemons

Lemons are very high in vitamin C . They do not contain much sugar - only 1-2 years. Although they are not the most preferred fruit because of their sour taste, lemons are very healthy because they boost the immune system. Lemon juice can be taken in the morning on an empty stomach with a glass of warm water to reduce appetite.

3. Oranges

A medium-sized orange contains about 14 g of digestible sugar. It is also an excellent source of vitamin C, thiamine, folic acid , calcium, fiber, potassium, choline and zeaxanthin. Thanks to them, the intake of oranges reduces the risk of high blood pressure, cancer and skin diseases. 

 

4. Grapefruit

Another citrus that is very useful is grapefruit. This extremely healthy fruit is low in sugar, making it great for breakfast as it supplies the body with nutrients. In addition, it is low in calories. Vitamin A, C, potassium, thiamine , folate and magnesium can be found in grapefruit . It boosts immunity, improves heart function, reduces the risk of kidney stones and hydrates the body.

5. Avocado

Avocado is a fruit that contains almost no sugar - about 1 year. It is a good source of healthy fats and fiber. Avocados also contain vitamin K, folate, vitamin C, B5, B6, E and potassium. It also contains small amounts of magnesium, manganese, copper, iron , zinc, phosphorus, vitamin A, B1, B2, B3. Regular consumption of avocado satisfies the stomach for a longer time, which reduces the risk of overeating.
