5 Vegetables, Alternative To Meat

These 5 vegetables, in addition to replacing meat, are extremely rich in many nutrients.

Meat substitution can be done by eating certain vegetables. They can provide the body with nutrients also found in meat, such as iron, omega-3, but vitamin B12 cannot be extracted. Among the vegetables that replace animal feed are: 

1. Dark leafy vegetables

Dark leafy vegetables are among the best sources of magnesium, but also iron, which the body needs. 5. Potatoes

Meat can be replaced with potatoes in most dishes. In many cases, even they can be a major component. Whether cooked, baked or mashed, potatoes are excellent substitutes for animal foods such as meat. A study claims that replacing meat with potatoes can reduce the likelihood of a heart attack .
