Regular consumption of almonds from an early age can build healthy eating habits.

Consumption of a handful of almonds , in addition to helping the brain, is also useful for improving the diet . Researchers from the University of Florida are studying the effect of adding almonds on the quality of the diet . 28 pairs of parents took part in the study conducted by them.
 
During the study, participants consumed about 40 g of almonds per day for three weeks. Children are also part of the study - they consume about 15 grams of almonds daily. 
 
The idea is for all participants to replace salty and processed foods with the consumption of almonds during the study. 
 
According to researchers, in the last 20 years the consumption of nuts and seeds among children between 3 and 6 years of age has decreased, at the expense of the consumption of salty snacks, chips, snacks and more. 
 
Experts have interest in such research, especially among younger children as promoting healthy habits related to nutrition during early childhood can have many benefits for their lives further. 
 
According to the results, the addition of almonds to the diet has the potential to improve public health. 
 
The study is published in the Journal of Nutrition Research .
 
 
Almonds are among the most useful choices for breakfast. They contain heart-healthy fatty acids, along with copper, vitamin E, magnesium and high-quality protein. Various biomolecules can be found in these nuts, including fiber , minerals, vitamins , phytosterols and antioxidants . 
 
According to researchers, eating almonds can reduce the risk of developing heart disease as it lowers levels of "bad" cholesterol in the blood. The magnesium content in these nuts helps regulate blood sugar levels .
