The apple is a unique fruit. It contains many vitamins and trace elements, including vitamins C, B1, B2, P, E, manganese and potassium. It is a natural source of the easily digestible element iron, which is extremely necessary for the normal functioning of the circulatory system. This fruit contains a large amount of cellulose, so it is absorbed for a longer time and gives a feeling of satiety.
The apple normalizes the work of the gastrointestinal tract, liver and kidneys. In addition, the pectin in it improves complexion and according to many gerontologists is able to significantly prolong the youth and freshness of the skin.
Apples are indispensable in anemia, improve the condition of the intestinal microflora. Regular use can prevent the early appearance of wrinkles and strengthen the hair structure.
These fruits contain a large amount of sugars, among which fructose predominates. They also contain organic acids (more malic, less citric), chlorogenic and ursolic acids are very valuable, the latter is a regulator of metabolism in the body.
In addition to the important acids, these fruits also contain tannins, nitrogen, pectin and cellulose, as well as minerals - iron, potassium and others. Other vitamins in the composition, in addition to the above: K, PP, A plus folic acid and inositol (inositol).
Organic acids are involved in the processes of regulating the body's pH and are therefore useful in gout, diabetes and some forms of diathesis. The contained potassium activates the work of the excretory system, and pectins contribute to the removal of cholesterol. In addition to cholesterol, they also help rid the body of harmful substances formed as a result of inflammatory processes, intoxication or indigestion. By regulating the activity of the stomach, apples are especially suitable for the less mobile and the elderly.
The most useful are, of course, fresh fruits, but when stored they retain many of their useful qualities.
Even if you simply massage the skin of the face and neck with a piece of fruit, you will notice that it will rejuvenate, tighten and acquire a pleasant pink hue. It is also used in the care of the skin of the hands, heels, warts, chapped lips.
The harm of the apple is that the crude fiber may not improve the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract, but cause the appearance or exacerbation of colitis. Sweet varieties should be consumed with caution by people suffering from cardiovascular disease. It also has an adverse effect on patients with ulcers of the stomach and duodenum. Often apples for them are forbidden even in the form of puree.
